Between the ceremony and reception we encourage you to explore the Lincoln Park Zoo. It's free, open to the public, and you'll already be standing in the middle of it! You can enter the zoo from a number of different points that connect to the bridge and paths near the Pavilion and Cafe Brauer.

Conservatory

This beautiful indoor-garden is on the north end of Lincoln Park Zoo, just outside the entrance. To get there faster, take Stockton Drive and head north for a 5 minute stroll. It is well worth it!

Nature Boardwalk

The Nature Boardwalk curves around the ponds surrounding Café BrauerGo for a meadering stroll along the water and into the preserved prairies.

The J. Parker @ The Lincoln Hotel

Cut through the park to the west and cross the street for a rooftop cocktail at The J. Parker - one of our favorite spots!

Signature Room

For a gorgeous view of the city and a classically-priced Chicago cocktail, head on up to the Signature Room in the Hancock building. Enter in the North facing doors on East Delware Street.

KAYAKING the RIVER

Yes, you read that correctly. Whether you have time to spare before the wedding on Saturday, or are looking for Sunday afternoon activities afterwards, check out Urban Kayaks. It's a great way to see the city!

 

The Chicago Riverwalk location is closest - between Columbus and Lakeshore Drive.​ And if you decide not to kayak, the new section of the Riverwalk is a great walk!

MILLENIUM PARK

Head down Michigan Avenue to see Millenium Park's greatest features: the "Bean", Pritzker Pavilion, Maggie Daley Park, and the Lurie Gardens.
